We have an SC8000 array up and running, and an FS8600 w/ FluidFS v3 which was racked (but not installed!) at the same time. When the Dell technician was here we didn't have the cabling available for the FS8600 and the SC8000 was needed right away. So, basically, the FS8600 was not configured by the tech.
I've been mucking around with the appliance and not getting far, because all the various documents for setting up the FS8600 amount to:
1) Have these cables handy
2) ????
3) Enjoy!
Now I'd like to reset this thing to factory defaults. There are no pools on the appliance, no shares, no configurations or settings of any type that I care about. I just want to roll it back to the same state it was in when Dell left it with us. How can I do that?
Somewhat related: Is FluidFS v4 or v5 something that can be upgraded to? Or is the version of FluidFS you have on the appliance the one you have forever more? The Dell support interface seems to imply that.
